Congratulations to our Brother Charles Barry, who celebrated his Diamond Jubilee, (60 years), as a Patrician Brother!
In August 1955, Brother Charles joined the Patrician Brothers in Ireland. At the tender age of 21, he was asked to leave his home and family to come to Australia to teach at Patrician Brothers Fairfield, where he was appointed Principal after 5 years.
In 1968, Brother Charles joined a group of 21 volunteers who established the Patrician story in Papua New Guinea, clearing the land, building schools and educating the grateful students and building communities.
As we celebrated with Brother Charles on Friday 14 August with Brothers,
We have been blessed to have Brother Charles with us at Delany College for 20 years now, as a teacher, and now Counsellor. He is a man of many talents and the students and staff appreciate his wisdom, caring and humble lead.

Be Bold. Be Kind. Speak Up. π¬πͺ Bullying doesn't stop on its own, it takes all of us. Whether itβs in the classroom, the playground or online, we all have a role to play. 𧑠Students can speak up, stand together and support those being targeted. 𧑠Parents & teachers can guide and model positive behaviour, helping young people grow with respect and empathy. Letβs create a culture where kindness leads and bullying has no place. π #BeKind #SpeakUp #StopBullyingTogether #StrongerTogether
