We celebrated Mass with Br Peter at Holy Trinity, followed by a morning of house competitions including volleyball, basketball, tug-o-war, oz-tag. In the spirit of the day, most staff dressed in green and we enjoyed a BBQ lunch before heading to sport this afternoon.

Through coaching and workshops, participants develop confidence, communication, and leadership skills β all while creating projects that make a real difference in their local community. π Congratulations to Sienna and Rylan, who proudly represented Delany College in this yearβs Max Potential Program! π« Siennaβs project, βUnity Week,β focused on strengthening community connections and reducing loneliness through creativity and service β including food donations, handmade bracelets, and heartfelt cards for those in need. π¬ Rylanβs project built on his experience in the Top Blokes Program, featuring guest speaker Jason Blyth, who inspired students to find purpose and choose their own path through faith. Our Stage 5 and Year 11 Visual Arts students braved the Bondi heat to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary sculpture at Sculpture by the Sea! From monumental site-specific installations to coastal masterpieces, they absorbed every ounce of artistic inspiration (and sunshine π ). πβ¨ Year 12 English β Learning Beyond the Classroom Throughout the HSC English course, our Year 12 students have taken part in a range of inspiring excursions that brought their studies to life and boosted their exam prep. π At the Richard III Symposium at the Seymour Centre, students explored Module A in depth and experienced the power of Shakespeare live on stage. π They sharpened their skills at the English Teachers Associationβs HSC Paper 2 Day β diving into Modules A, B & C alongside students from across NSW. βοΈ A creative writing workshop with author Will Kostakis provided fresh ideas and practical strategies for writing imaginative responses. π¬ And to top it off, English Advanced students attended a gripping performance of 1984, enriching their understanding of the Common Module text.
