As a school we love and appreciate each other dearly. We make sure that even those who take a walk through our school feel the same too. Our teachers mean a lot to us as well. If unwell, leaving or have simply missed a class, a piece of our hearts is taken with them. We try our best as a school to ensure that love and the Delany Spirit is delivered to all.
APPRECIATION is a big word that means Gratitude and it is our duty as Delany students to show that we acknowledge the presence of those around us. The Patrician Spirit is a huge part of our idea of family. We are a family. Those who are here and those who have left are all part of the Delany family. πβ¨ A day of faith, friendship and leadership! βοΈ Our Year 10 students joined their peers from fellow Patrician schools for an inspiring day exploring the life and legacy of Bishop Daniel Delany. Through interactive activities, meaningful conversations and plenty of singing, students reflected on the values of the Patrician Brothers and the timeless message of the Breastplate of St Patrick. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, grow in faith and strengthen the bonds that unite our Patrician community. π Our Stage 5 Drama students recently enjoyed an inspiring excursion to GRIMM: Tales from the Brothers Grimm at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith. Presented by Shake & Stir Theatre Co., this bold and imaginative production brought classic fairy tales to life through innovative staging, dynamic physical theatre and stunning visual design. The experience gave students valuable insight into contemporary Australian theatre, creative storytelling and the many ways performance can captivate an audience. β¨ Stage 5 Formation Day β¨ Recently, our Stage 5 students participated in Formation Day. A valuable opportunity to pause, reflect and deepen their connection with God, Jesus and one another. Throughout the day, students engaged in activities centered on gratitude, mindfulness and personal reflection, taking time to appreciate the many blessings in their lives. The day was also made even more special by the wonderful food shared together, for which we were truly grateful. A highlight of the day was spending time with Mr Carr before he commences a period of leave.
