As a school we love and appreciate each other dearly. We make sure that even those who take a walk through our school feel the same too. Our teachers mean a lot to us as well. If unwell, leaving or have simply missed a class, a piece of our hearts is taken with them. We try our best as a school to ensure that love and the Delany Spirit is delivered to all.
APPRECIATION is a big word that means Gratitude and it is our duty as Delany students to show that we acknowledge the presence of those around us. The Patrician Spirit is a huge part of our idea of family. We are a family. Those who are here and those who have left are all part of the Delany family. π Max Potential Project Spotlight! π The Max Potential Program empowers students to grow as young leaders by setting personal and community goals. Through coaching and workshops, participants develop confidence, communication, and leadership skills β all while creating projects that make a real difference in their local community. π Congratulations to Sienna and Rylan, who proudly represented Delany College in this yearβs Max Potential Program! π« Siennaβs project, βUnity Week,β focused on strengthening community connections and reducing loneliness through creativity and service β including food donations, handmade bracelets, and heartfelt cards for those in need. π¬ Rylanβs project built on his experience in the Top Blokes Program, featuring guest speaker Jason Blyth, who inspired students to find purpose and choose their own path through faith. Our Stage 5 and Year 11 Visual Arts students braved the Bondi heat to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary sculpture at Sculpture by the Sea!
