| Our group was part of the group of Sydney Patrician school network (Holy Cross, PB Fairfield and PB Blacktown were the other travellers). Our students were immersed in the regional town and school, as well as having the opportunity to spend a day with two Aboriginal men to learn about their culture. In short, a fabulous experience. |

πΆ Music with a mission! β€οΈ Our talented students recently took to the streets to busk in support of the incredible work of the St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies). Through their performances, they not only shared their musical talents with the community but also helped raise awareness and funds for those experiencing hardship. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to listen, donate and encourage our students. We are so proud of the compassion, generosity and community spirit they demonstrated. Through interactive activities, meaningful conversations and plenty of singing, students reflected on the values of the Patrician Brothers and the timeless message of the Breastplate of St Patrick. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, grow in faith and strengthen the bonds that unite our Patrician community. π Our Stage 5 Drama students recently enjoyed an inspiring excursion to GRIMM: Tales from the Brothers Grimm at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith. Presented by Shake & Stir Theatre Co., this bold and imaginative production brought classic fairy tales to life through innovative staging, dynamic physical theatre and stunning visual design. The experience gave students valuable insight into contemporary Australian theatre, creative storytelling and the many ways performance can captivate an audience. β¨ Stage 5 Formation Day β¨ Recently, our Stage 5 students participated in Formation Day. A valuable opportunity to pause, reflect and deepen their connection with God, Jesus and one another. Throughout the day, students engaged in activities centered on gratitude, mindfulness and personal reflection, taking time to appreciate the many blessings in their lives. The day was also made even more special by the wonderful food shared together, for which we were truly grateful. A highlight of the day was spending time with Mr Carr before he commences a period of leave.
