On Saturday, 16th May, four students from the Stage 5 Child Studies class held a cake stall at Bunnings Villawood. The girls had been learning about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in class and wanted to help out.
Akosita, Jennifer, Leah and Shannadyne baked until the early hours of Saturday morning, then arrived early at Bunnings to sell their cakes, slices and crackles to raise money for SIDS and Red Nose Day.
We are very proud of their initiative and efforts to help out this great cause.

They showed how Jesus was able to absorb all the violence and transform it and return it as love and forgiveness. Big shout out to Stella Fitzpatrick, Alex Zeitoun and Brandon Daniels who represented Delany College in the PDSSSC Parramatta Zone Swimming Carnival at Sydney Olympic Swimming Centre πββοΈπββοΈ Both Stella Fitzpatrick and Alex Zeitoun swam well and achieved personal bests in their respective swimming events. Brandon Daniels competed in four events and was awarded a bronze medal in the Under 12s 50 metres butterfly final and a silver medal in the 100 meters freestyle π π π Congratulations on a great effort!!! ππ»ππ»ππ»

A fun day out was has at the girls basketball gala day on Friday βΉπ½ββοΈπ Although we weren't able to secure a win, the girls worked impressively as a team to get as many points as possible onto the scoreboard.
