Thanks to all those in our community who helped out with Open Day, and welcome to all those who visited Open Day to see what Delany College has to offer.
Our tour guides, most of whom were from Year 7, led the visitors through the school on a journey showcasing just some of the students' talents in Music, Arts and Sports, as well as giving them an insight into how the students learn at Delany. They toured our amazing new Connective Spaces, checked out our interactive technology and specialised learning areas. Catering was provided by the senior Hospitality students using fresh produce from our own garden.
Some great feedback was received from visitors, complimenting students and staff on the great work being done and the good community spirit. We're proud of our school, our staff and students and this was evident to all those who visited.

πβ¨ Creativity meets craftsmanship in Visual Design at Delany College! Our students are developing real-world manufacturing and product design skills as they create a stunning jewellery collection, including a menβs ring, a three-stone ladiesβ ring, a pendant featuring a hand-cut gemstone and a piece produced using CAD/CAM technology. As AI and digital technologies continue to shape industry, students learn to balance traditional jewellery-making techniques with cutting-edge design tools, building the skills needed for future careers while learning how to communicate their ideas to specific audiences. This impressive sample piece by Damon showcases the quality of work our students can achieve. And the exciting part? Theyβre still learning ... the best is yet to come! π #DelanyCollege #VisualDesign #JewelleryDesign #CreativeIndustries #CADCAM #DesignEducation #FutureReady #StudentWork #HandsOnLearning #STEMandDesign12 Jun 2026

ππ€β Despite the rainy weather, our Year 12 students demonstrated outstanding compassion and commitment by volunteering with Vinnies Van, supporting members of the community experiencing homelessness. Their willingness to give back, even in challenging conditions, reflects the remarkable character and generosity of our Year 12 cohort. A special thank you to Miss Ghribian and Mr. Trad for accompanying and supporting our students throughout this meaningful experience. ππ
