Four Delany College, Granville students and teacher Jennifer Venhuizen had the extraordinary experience of travelling to Anzac Cove, Gallipoli for the Dawn Service.
Students Divashna Kumar, Raphaella Chidiac, Beverley Kaviya and Krystal Docker were announced as Anzac ambassadors late last year after winning the Anzac Day tribute essay writing competition. The young women were among just 100 students selected from NSW to participate in the commemoration ceremonies at Gallipoli.
Since their return from Gallipoli, the students have shared their experiences with the community, including veterans at Granville RSL Club.

πΆ Music with a mission! β€οΈ Our talented students recently took to the streets to busk in support of the incredible work of the St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies). Through their performances, they not only shared their musical talents with the community but also helped raise awareness and funds for those experiencing hardship. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to listen, donate and encourage our students. We are so proud of the compassion, generosity and community spirit they demonstrated. Through interactive activities, meaningful conversations and plenty of singing, students reflected on the values of the Patrician Brothers and the timeless message of the Breastplate of St Patrick. π Our Stage 5 Drama students recently enjoyed an inspiring excursion to GRIMM: Tales from the Brothers Grimm at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith. Presented by Shake & Stir Theatre Co., this bold and imaginative production brought classic fairy tales to life through innovative staging, dynamic physical theatre and stunning visual design. The experience gave students valuable insight into contemporary Australian theatre, creative storytelling and the many ways performance can captivate an audience.
