Students ventured into the city to visit a company on George street called Atlassian. An Australian Software Design company that develops products for software developers, project managers and other software teams. Students were invited to a Q&A session to discuss the different job roles and careers available as well as tour the grounds to see what the wonderful world of coding is like, the facilities available and flexible working conditions. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to see the many career options available as well as seeing what it takes to make such a successful company work. 🤩🤩

‘Riding in Boys’ Cars’ Students from Year 12 English Studies classes attend Riverside Theatre 🎫🎫 to watch the play, ‘Girls in Boys’ Cars’. 🏎️🏎️ Outlined as, ‘A complicated friendship, an accidental road trip, and a whole lot of trouble’, novelist and playwright; Felicity Castagna was driven to give voices to those normally silenced in our society. At the conclusion of the play, the students were fortunate to have a Q and A session with the cast, director and Castagna herself. It is hoped that this excursion sparked ideas 💡💡for students as they research a related text that reflects the complexity of life. 🤩🤩

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them". As a community, Delany College and Holy Trinity gathered to commemorate Remembrance Day at a special Assembly organised and run by our Year 10 History students. Year 5 students 🧑🎓from six local Catholic primary schools participated in the Delany Shield debating competition this year. Each participant was eager to be involved, well prepared and displayed exceptional camaraderie. The final debate, 'Is Father Christmas real?' was hotly contested between St Patrick's, Guildford and Holy Family, East Granville. The arguments were engaging and it was clear that the Year 5 debaters were thoroughly prepared. Lunch all round for a great effort and awesome team work!👍👍👍

"It's OK to not be OK" Based on the concept of the The Blue Tree Project, Y11 Visual Arts students created The Rain Shadow Tree using 600 cocktail umbrellas ☂️☂️☂️ What is the Blue Tree Project you might ask⁉️..... Their aim is to spread the message that "it's OK to not be OK". In Australia to date, there have been 1033 trees🌳 which have been painted blue to help break down the stigma that’s still largely attached to mental illness. 💙💙 Well done students for your magnificent work 🤩🤩

Compass Parent Portal
Compass Parent Portal is our primary parent communication tool for day-to-day updates, upcoming events, and important notifications so it is essential that all parents download the app.
Students are required to wear their full uniform, especially when representing the school at sport or for any other purpose. Parents and carers are encouraged to learn about our school uniform guidelines.
The best school in NSW! I think Delany teaches us a lot of the things we can use in our everyday lives.
