The Stop Work Action for next Tuesday 28 April has been suspended. School will be on as normal for all Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Parramatta.
Relieving Executive Director of Schools, Paul Menday said this was a good outcome as negotiations with the Independent Education Union continue in good faith.
'We welcome the decision of the Union to suspend stop work action and avoid unnecessary disruption to students' learning; inconvenience to families and loss of pay for teachers,' Paul said. 'Catholic employers are finalising the agreement with the Union and look forward to have an agreement for teachers and staff to vote in coming weeks.'
