Thanks to all those who participated in and attended our Multicultural Day on Wednesday 22nd June. It was great to celebrate with the Community, taste the food from the many different cultures and hear the stories of those who travelled to this country from what sounds like another world to many of us who were born here in Australia.
The afternoon was a wonderful example of the Delany community spirit. Our students, led by Rachel Tuala, managed to put together an amazing afternoon of cultural diversity and celebration in food, clothing and performance.

Student mobile phone use will be banned across 80 Western Sydney Catholic schools from the beginning of the 2026 school year. The restriction presents a positive opportunity to enhance student outcomes, both in academic excellence and wellbeing.

π Max Potential Project Spotlight! π The Max Potential Program empowers students to grow as young leaders by setting personal and community goals. Through coaching and workshops, participants develop confidence, communication, and leadership skills β all while creating projects that make a real difference in their local community. π Congratulations to Sienna and Rylan, who proudly represented Delany College in this yearβs Max Potential Program! π« Siennaβs project, βUnity Week,β focused on strengthening community connections and reducing loneliness through creativity and service β including food donations, handmade bracelets, and heartfelt cards for those in need. π¬ Rylanβs project built on his experience in the Top Blokes Program, featuring guest speaker Jason Blyth, who inspired students to find purpose and choose their own path through faith. Our Stage 5 and Year 11 Visual Arts students braved the Bondi heat to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary sculpture at Sculpture by the Sea! From monumental site-specific installations to coastal masterpieces, they absorbed every ounce of artistic inspiration (and sunshine π ).
