💙✨ A day of faith, friendship and leadership! ☘️ Our Year 10 students joined their peers from fellow Patrician schools for an inspiring day exploring the life and legacy of Bishop Daniel Delany. Through interactive activities, meaningful conversations and plenty of singing, students reflected on the values of the Patrician Brothers and the timeless message of the Breastplate of St Patrick. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, grow in faith and strengthen the bonds that unite our Patrician community. 🎭 Our Stage 5 Drama students recently enjoyed an inspiring excursion to GRIMM: Tales from the Brothers Grimm at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith. Presented by Shake & Stir Theatre Co., this bold and imaginative production brought classic fairy tales to life through innovative staging, dynamic physical theatre and stunning visual design. The experience gave students valuable insight into contemporary Australian theatre, creative storytelling and the many ways performance can captivate an audience. A fantastic opportunity to see the magic of live theatre in action! ✨🎭

✨ Stage 5 Formation Day ✨ Recently, our Stage 5 students participated in Formation Day. A valuable opportunity to pause, reflect and deepen their connection with God, Jesus and one another. Throughout the day, students engaged in activities centered on gratitude, mindfulness and personal reflection, taking time to appreciate the many blessings in their lives. The day was also made even more special by the wonderful food shared together, for which we were truly grateful. A highlight of the day was spending time with Mr Carr before he commences a period of leave. Our students are developing real-world manufacturing and product design skills as they create a stunning jewellery collection, including a men’s ring, a three-stone ladies’ ring, a pendant featuring a hand-cut gemstone and a piece produced using CAD/CAM technology. As AI and digital technologies continue to shape industry, students learn to balance traditional jewellery-making techniques with cutting-edge design tools, building the skills needed for future careers while learning how to communicate their ideas to specific audiences. 💙🤝☔ Despite the rainy weather, our Year 12 students demonstrated outstanding compassion and commitment by volunteering with Vinnies Van, supporting members of the community experiencing homelessness.
