Anzac Ceremony
At our Anzac ceremony today, we were reminded not only of the sacrifices that were and still are made for us by the members of our defence force, but the traits required that cross over into everyday life.  Showing genuine kindness to people, helping a friend in need, feeling fear but dealing with it in order to do what has to be done - all vital in today's society.

We thank all the guests who joined us today, particularly Ltn Col Scott and Mr Bullivant for their inspiring words.

🌺 Today marks the 109th year since the Gallipoli landing and represents the ultimate sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand servicemen in the face of war. Ms Sweeney, Leader of Learning HSIE laying a wreath at the Monument for Remembrance at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra on behalf of Delany College staff and students after the Dawn Service. It is a day of reflection to be grateful for the freedom and lifestyle these sacrifices have afforded our nation and continue to protect. We pray for peace and a speedy end to the current conflicts around the worldπŸ™πŸ™ #lestweforget🌺
