WYD Pilgrims - past and future.

At assembly this week, Principal, Peter Wade, announced our lucky WYD 2016 pilgrims who will travel to Krakow, Poland next year.

Congratulations to:-

Nora Monday
Grace Barakat
Mariam Karam
Celine Fatu
Chloe Zaiter

These students were chosen unanimously by a panel including Mr Wade, Fr Andrew and Miss Anthony, (a former WYD Pilgrim) and we thank all those who applied for this unique opportunity.

The girls have already been attending information nights to prepare them for their pilgrimage and will be looking for support from the Delany Community to help get them to Krakow.

We have launched the WYD raffle and Delany families have been asked to either donate to the fund or sell raffle tickets to help support the girls.  There are some great prizes on offer!

1st - Toyota Yaris (Terry Shields Toyota, Parramatta)
2nd - Cosmos European 2016 Tour
3rd -  Apple iPad Mini (Campion College)
4th - $500 Cash (Deloitte Touche Tomatsu)
5th - Apple watch (CCI Insurances)

Our Connective partner, Telstra, have also kindly donated an iPad Air as an incentive prize, with each book sold getting 1 chance to win this great prize.

We look forward to sharing more of the girls' stories as they prepare for their amazing journey.
